You’re in for a treat. I promise.
It’s an extraordinary thing to have Hershey Felder with us. I’ve long admired Hershey, his depth of talent and his fundamental ability to tell stories on and off “the keys.” His keen perspective, huge intelligence, genuine sense of humor and open heart make him an ideal guest during our celebratory 60th season here at SCR.
I have watched Hershey share details of his life, connection to his faith and respect for the artists that inspire him. No doubt, if you love George Gershwin, you’ll find a connection here that is truly remarkable. Hershey’s work executes on a universal level that inspires. His tremendous talent is inimitable and I’m thrilled he’s agreed to join us here to share that talent.
Our programming offers the opportunity to engage with the world in myriad ways. I’m particularly fond of this intimate and immersive portrayal that showcases process and product at the same time. I know you’ll enjoy it, too.
